Mr. Yusuff Sesay, Technical Manager, Petroleum Products Testing Laboratory, Sierra Leone Standards Bureau was born on the in October 1978 in Koidu Town, Kono District. He attended the Murialdo Secondary School, Lunsar and the Sierra Leone Grammar School, Freetown. He holds a Masters of Science (M. Sc) in Environmental Chemistry plus a B. Sc Hons in Environmental Science (Major in Chemistry) from the Njala University, Sierra Leone. He has benefited from several professional trainings.
In 2010 he attended a high training technology in Food Processing organised and hosted by the Beijing Food Research Institute (BFRI) and sponsored by the Peoples Republic of China, Application of Physico-chemical Methods in Food Analysis and ISO 17025 Technical Requirements (2012). Organised and sponsored by the West Africa Quality Programme and hosted at the NAFDAC Testing Laboratories, Lagos, Nigeria, Support for Competitiveness and Harmonization of TBT and SPS Measures (2009). Organised and sponsored by the West Africa Quality Programme among others.
